12/26/04 - First of all, Merry Christmas everyone! Strips are coming either today or tomorrow. Second of all, no one sent in the winning kiriban, so I'm doing a general thank you to everyone. Third, there's a new poll. Please vote on it.

12/12/04 - Updates are coming soon, don't worry. More importantly, someone got the 2000 kiriban and I want to know who. If someone can give me a screenshot of the page with 2000 hits, they can request something. Otherwise, I'll just do a generic "Thanks" picture or something.

11/24/04 - Bit of a big update. First of all, the tagboard has been abolished, because it adds to the loading time of the front page, and it's functions were becoming redundant. If you just found out about this place and wanted to drop a comment, that's what the guestbook is for. If you wanted to hold an extended conversation, that's what the forum is for.If anyone wants it back, feel free to email me and complain. Speaking of the forums, there needs to be some reorganization in there eventually, because really it's not my forum to begin with. It was Sad's from her Millennium comic, then we started sharing it, but now that Sad's disappeared and her comic is sort of dead, maybe it might just be ours. I dunno. I've been trying to get in touch with her for ages.

Second thing, I think I'm going back to one update per week. Over the last few days I thought seriously about quitting the whole comic, because it was just crappy doodles I throw up, not what I wanted it to be, which is sort of a springboard for new art techniques and stuff (you can see the many places where I took a wrong turn XP ). I want working on this to be enjoyable, and I want to give you guys decent art. I might manage a Wednesday update once in a while, but mainly it'll only be on Saturdays from now on.

Also, there's a new kiriban, at 2000. I think I'll do em every thousand from now on.

11/24/04 - The reason why I'm posting a string of storyline strips instead of Dead Sky Filler even though I'm really late is because I want to get to a certain stopping place in this story so I can do something special for Christmas. But luckily, it's Thanksgiving break so I have extra time to work on things now. So I should be caught up (and maybe ahead) soon.

10/30/04 - Happy Halloween, everyone! First and most importantly, remember way back when I said I'd update on Saturdays AND Wednesdays? That's finally a reality. Also, random note: I have very little time Friday night and have to be out Saturday morning. So I might not get to posting the comic until later that day. But don't assume that since I post it late I'm behind. There are strips drawn in advance, I'm just slow to upload. Secondly, there is a new poll. One which I really need votes on. Thirdly, the chapter organization has finished (note the headers on almost every comic now). All that's left is the splash page for Ch. 1. One more thing: PLEASE SIGN THE GUESTBOOK! My hits are going up faster than ever, and I want to know who's making that happen and shower them with e-cookies. Or something. Just sign!

10/11/04 - Resuming regular comic, even though the computer situation still isn't totally fixed. I'm willing to suffer a glitchy copy of photoshop for you guys :D COOKIES TO ALL WHO SENT IN GUEST STRIPS! The katakana sfx page and the chapter organizing will take place soon. Oh, and I changed my mind about a kiriban at 1000 hits, in that it won't be a kiriban. I'll just do a general 'thanks' picture for everyone.

9/05/04 - Redesigned the site a little so the comic would be more towards the top of the page. Archive page and Downloads page are up, Series Info will be soon. Also, I'm planning to add a new section which basically gives translations for the katakana SFX in the manga. I'll be using those myself from time to time, because making machine guns make some dumb noise like "ratatatatatata" sounds silly. Oh yeah, and I'm organizing the storylines into chapters. I'm in the midst of making the splash page for Chapter 1 (the captain story). It'll appear right before the first strip of the story if you wanna see it when it's done

8/29/04 - Back from vacation ^^. Am gradually working out problems with the new black and white medium. Also, I'm switching the word/thought bubble text to lowercase, because the ability to capitalize at will allows for more emphasis to be put in certain places of dialog. The Series Info, Comic Archive, and Downloads (new!) pages should be up shortly as well. OH YEAH THERE IS ALSO A NEW KIRIBAN

8/23/04 - Started putting most recent updates on homepage, because I know people will be lazy and not read the real updates page. SO here we are at the start of the 1st real storyline. Since the intro I've learned a lot about what works and what doesn't work. Summary: inking with a tablet takes forever. Coloring, I have recently discovered, also takes forever. As much as I like the look of color every week, it takes HOURS. SO I AM NO LONGER DOING COLOR ON EVERYTHING. Only on the one-shot comics in between stories. The actual stories will be done in black and white from now on. BUT THIS IS NOT COMPLETELY BAD. Because with not having to color I can crank out 2 or 3 every week instead of one. Tentative schedule for now is Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. ONE LAST THING: I am going out of town hours within the writing of this update. Won't be able to upload stuff, but I WILL draw up a storm while I'm away so I can update lots when I get back.

8/08/04 - The banner is up! Rejoice in the coolness of it. OK it's not that great but cutting out all the guys from the scans and posing them together ate many precious hours. So you better like it *poke*

7/28/04 - Been pretty busy just getting the comics up, but the banner and remaining side pages should be up soon

6/22/04 - Oekaki board registration finally came through, so that's up. Lowered the kiriban number so people might actually get it before next year. Oh, and see that tagboard thingy in the corner of the main page? Yeah, you can use that as sort of a guestbook/forum thingy

6/21/04 - More links for both the regular pages and the nazi color guide

6/20/04 - The Grand Unveiling! Yay and a thing. Links page added today. Banner and the rest of the pages should be up sometime this week

6/19/04 - Kiriban and Nazi Coloring Guide pages are up. The actual comic is marginally on time. Amazing
